Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at STS Aviation Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating welding equipment to build high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate welding equipment to produce high-quality weldments, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Adjust welding equipment to ensure proper configurations and settings for optimal results.
  • Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torches, or welding equipment.
  • Weld components in flat and vertical positions, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Operate and read measuring devices accurately to ensure quality control.
  • Maintain attention to detail and adhere to quality standards in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or one year of relevant experience.
  • Passing score on internal welder certification test and successful recertification of skills, as required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Welding certification through an educational institution.
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing industry.
