Job Summary

The Wellness Associate is a vital member of our team at The Mansions at Alpharetta, providing exceptional care and support to our residents. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can assist with daily living activities, maintain a safe and clean environment, and respond to resident emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Maintain awareness of each resident's physical and mental health and report any changes to the Wellness Director
  • Keep an inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed
  • Assist with finding shift coverage and develop assignments for the Wellness Director
  • Orient and onboard new Wellness Associates
  • Respond to resident emergencies and provide first aid
  • Assist residents with cleaning and maintaining their units
  • Answer calls for assistance and attend to resident needs promptly
  • Assist with meal selection, service, and feeding as assigned
  • Participate in in-service education and maintain records according to policy
Requirements
  • Current State Nurse's Aide registration
  • Experience and passion in working with seniors
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
Physical Requirements
  • Physically able to bend and reach
  • Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 60 pounds at times
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods
Miscellaneous
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned
  • May be required to work on shifts other than the one for which hired
  • May be required to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per day)
