Electrophysiology Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing technical and clinical support for our Arrhythmia Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technological application skills for electrophysiology procedures.
  • Perform duties under the general supervision of the Arrhythmia Service Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Experience in a high-volume arrhythmia service or cardiac cath lab.
  • 2 years of experience in a high-volume arrhythmia service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) within 2 years of hire.
