We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at the California Department of Education. As an RBT, you will work closely with a BCBA and classroom teacher to develop and implement behavior support plans for students with special needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct care and support to these students, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
Key responsibilities will include implementing skills-acquisition and behavior support plans, collecting data and conducting assessments as needed, and collaborating with the BCBA and classroom teacher to ensure the success of the students. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of experience working with students with special needs, and a valid California driver's license. You should also possess a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
