Key Responsibilities- Provide routine patient care services, including call light response, ambulation, and personal hygiene assistance.
- Collect and record patient data, reporting changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Perform surgical skin preps, basic skin care procedures, and quality control checks of blood glucose instruments.
- Support general unit activities, such as postmortem care, cleaning, and responding to Code Blue pages.
- Perform other related responsibilities as necessary.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Specialized education requirements include completion of an acute care nursing assistant course, long-term care nursing assistant course, or equivalent through the Military Training Network (MTN).
- Direct patient care experience preferred, with at least six months of nursing assistant experience required.
