Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse and/or physician.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care and comfort to patients, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Assist with basic patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, grooming, and ambulation.
- Report any abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with maintaining patient rooms and common areas, ensuring they are stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Support patients with feeding, fluid intake, and other daily living activities as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR or BLS Provider certification required.
- Registration on the Virginia Board of Nursing Aide Registry is required.
- One year of experience as a CNA, Respiratory Care Assistant, Rehab Tech, Certified Medical Assistant, EKG Tech, EMT, Phlebotomist, or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
