We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at LensCrafters in Sanford, FL. As a key member of our optical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting expectations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear to meet customer needs and standards.
- Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing expert advice and support.
- Utilize technology effectively, even in high-pressure situations, to deliver exceptional results and exceed customer expectations.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, demonstrating a solution-driven approach and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and competing priorities to achieve exceptional results.
- Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, taking pride in our visual merchandising and ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
- Identify and report safety opportunities, demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices and a culture of safety.
- Embrace new technology and change, remaining adaptable and open to learning and growth opportunities.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure as an Optician.
- Optical dispensing experience, with a strong background in customer service and sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise and products, with a strong understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately calculate and manage inventory.
- Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Previous customer service and retail experience, with a strong background in sales and customer service.
