Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Application Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in.NET applications, Visual Studio, and Agile Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Software Development
    • Implement.NET applications utilizing Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET, Razor, Bootstrap, JQuery, C#, and Oracle following MVC and Microservices design patterns.
    • Participate in Agile Scrum SDLC activities.
    • Perform unit and integration testing of software/systems prior to release to the users for user acceptance testing.
    • Continually evaluate emerging frameworks and technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices to improve work product.
  • User Support
    • Interact with, and support system users.

Requirements

  • Education
    • B.S. degree in an IT-related field.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and Visual Studio.
  • Skills
    • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or MicroSoft DevOps.
    • Experience with MVC.
    • Experience with Bootstrap.
    • Experience developing RESTful web services.
    • Experience with Oracle.
    • Experience developing in an Agile Scrum environment.
    • Dependency Injection.
    • Good oral and written communications skills.

Clearance Requirements

This position requires the candidate to have an active Secret clearance. Candidates may start with an Interim Secret.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given if you live in a Hubzone Area. This is a United States Small Business Administration (SBA) program for small companies that operate and employ people in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (Hubzone).
