Job SummaryLemieux & Associates LLC, a leading national investigative firm, is seeking an experienced Field Investigator to join our team. As a Field Investigator, you will conduct surveillance and investigations to obtain high-quality evidence and provide accurate reports.
Responsibilities- Conduct Surveillance: Conduct field investigations and initiate surveillance activities, including photography and videotape documentation, to obtain requested evidence.
- Investigate Claims: Investigate workers' compensation and liability/personal injury claims, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with Case Managers, Assistant Case Managers, and clients regarding progress of assigned cases and make recommendations for further initiatives.
- Meet Deadlines: Consistently complete investigations according to client's special handling instructions and meet assigned deadlines.
- Ensure Confidentiality: Ensure confidentiality of all information obtained through investigative activities.
- Testify in Court: Testify to the facts collected in any hearing or court of law.
- Experience: Must have experience conducting surveillance as a private investigator.
- Skills: Digital video camcorder use and operation, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat, effective written communication skills and report writing, strong organizational and time management skills, flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days, ability to work well independently, and ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
- Qualifications: Bi-lingual is a plus, strong computer and Internet skills, possess a valid state-issued driver's license, possess a reliable vehicle, digital camera, and computer with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Word, and Internet connection.
Competitive starting pay, travel time compensation, and report writing compensation. Full-time positions offer benefits, including Medical, Dental, 401K, paid vacation, and paid holidays.
Work EnvironmentThe Field Investigator will spend long periods of time in the community, conducting surveillance and investigations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
