As a Dietary Aide at The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will be responsible for providing assistance in the kitchen and dining rooms for the service of meals. You will perform defined work routines, using various dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Aide. You will meet scheduled meal times and follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and the Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Home Dietary Department policies and procedures.

You will also be responsible for cleaning duties as scheduled, including washing and storing dishes, and following established reporting procedures for food and equipment temperatures and kitchen sanitation logs.

Additionally, you will assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, and attend in-service educational programs and department meetings.

You will be expected to follow all safety codes while performing duties and be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Facility's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to hygiene and sanitation.

You will also perform other department duties or additional assignments as directed by the dietary management team.
