Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring, Training, and Development: Recruit, train, and develop a team of Great People to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and meet the high standards of Sonic Drive-In.
  • Shift Management: Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every guest leaves the restaurant satisfied by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, motivate, and coach team members to achieve their full potential and meet the goals of the restaurant.
  • Operations Management: Maintain and enforce Sonic safety and sanitation standards, manage labor costs, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and lead a team of Great People.
  • Restaurant Experience: Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management experience required.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; food safety certification a plus.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
