Responsibilities

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in secretarial studies is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 6 months of work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Competence in reading computer screens, forms, and other documents, along with following written and oral instructions. Ability to write clearly and legibly. Demonstrated proficiency with computers and keyboarding skills. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to respond to unpredictable situations and needs with sound judgment and excellent customer relations skills. Maintain composure in stressful situations while demonstrating a caring and positive attitude towards patients and families.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Consistent use of proper body mechanics. The role involves prolonged sitting, as well as standing and walking throughout the department or facility as required.
