About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Lab Supervisor to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our laboratory team, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, including laboratory technicians and medical laboratory assistants.
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and medicine, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of laboratory services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory budgets and resource allocation plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a laboratory supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, including testing procedures, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct laboratory staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
