Job Summary
Children's Hospital Of The King's Daughters is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist II Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents in both inpatient and partial hospitalization settings.

About the Role
This role requires a strong background in evidence-based therapies, including parent-child interaction therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. You will work closely with patients, families, and medical care providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address complex mental health needs. Your expertise will also include supervising and mentoring junior staff members, participating in integrated care teams, and facilitating transitions along the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough clinical psychiatric evaluations, including assessing mental health symptoms, chronic illness, trauma, disability, and psychosocial and environmental problems.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidenced-based therapies and modalities as appropriate.
* Provide tele-health therapy services when requested by patients or families.
* Participate in integrated care teams, coordinating efforts with patients' medical care providers to ensure seamless integration of medical and mental health care.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff members, signing off on clinical notes and billing as necessary.

Requirements
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related field from an accredited college or university.
* At least five to seven years post-license experience working with children and adolescents.
* Certification in evidenced-based modalities, such as parent-child interaction therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy, is preferred but not required.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
