We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Boise Medical Center. As a Mammography Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Certification and Licensure
- Must be certified in mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Departmental Requirements
- Must have at least 3-4 years of experience in mammography
- Must have completed at least 1-2 contracts
- Schedule and Shifts
- Diagnostic shifts: on average 14 scans per day, with scans every 30 minutes
- Screening shifts: 8 hours or 21-25 hours in a 10-hour shift
- Shifts vary, but typically include 8-hour shifts with breaks
- Unit-Specific Information
- Will work in a department with multiple scanners/rooms
- Will not be required to float between screening and diagnostic areas
- Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff
