Position Overview:
  • Prepare patients for their appointments by completing the Advanced Standard room process, which includes documenting the chief complaint, taking vital signs, reviewing medical history and allergies, and performing thorough medication reconciliation.
  • Assist with in-office testing, including blood draws, mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
  • Administer vaccines and injections within the scope of practice.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments in accordance with office policy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and the clinical care team to monitor and coordinate the delivery of care plans.


Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: At least 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, ideally in a primary care setting.
Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must possess active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or have EMT/Paramedic credentials. BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications for LPN/RN:
  • Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing.
  • Licensure: Active LPN or RN license required.
