Job Summary:

EPSoft Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced IBM ITX/WTX Developer to collaborate with our team in developing and integrating complex software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IBM ITX and Sterling Integrator Middleware tools, as well as experience in developing integrations leveraging IBM product suite components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data mapping exercises and analyze integration requirements.
  • Design, document, and build complex integrations using IBM ITX and Sterling Integrator Middleware tools.
  • Develop and test integrations involving SOAP/REST APIs, messaging queues, data transformation, databases, and synchronous/asynchronous messaging.
  • Participate in unit, system, and user testing, providing guidance and resolution on issues identified.
  • Prepare integrations for operations readiness and collaborate with support teams for deployments and post-deployments.
  • Analyze and resolve bugs reported during the software product lifecycle.
  • Establish and follow best practices for software development and communicate development progress to team members and management.
  • Review project schedules to ensure timely execution of work within established timeframes.


Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong technical background and experience in IBM ITX and Sterling Integrator Middleware tools.
  • Proficient in developing integrations leveraging IBM product suite components, including ITX Design Studio, Commerce Manager, Launcher, and Resource Adaptors.
  • Experience in developing integration solutions using design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • Strong experience in developing integration tools and technologies covering Web Services, SOAP, JSON, REST, APIs, and XML.
  • Experience with various connectivity protocols, including HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, and Blob Storage.
  • Working knowledge of cloud architecture and components.
  • Experience in securing solutions using OAuth2 flow, digital signatures, digital certificates, and encryption protocols like TLS/SSL.
  • Experience with Middleware Messaging architecture, Pub-Sub models, synchronous and asynchronous messaging, and technologies like IBM MQ and JMS.
  • Experience with RDMS concepts and cloud database technologies, with strong ability to write database queries and PL/SQL programming.
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting, as well as functional knowledge of Freight System-related interfaces and data dictionary.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile concepts and tools like SAFe.
  • Familiarity with Web testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
  • Working knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI, JSON, XML, and Flat File Formats.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
