About the Role:
- Inspect structural concrete, masonry, and steel construction projects to ensure compliance with relevant codes and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials, including concrete, masonry, and steel, to identify any defects or irregularities.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and structural engineers to ensure that construction projects meet the required standards.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and other relevant data.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Test and inspect construction materials, including concrete, masonry, and steel, to determine their quality and integrity.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that construction projects meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve any issues or defects that may arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ICC certification in one or more areas, including masonry, concrete, and structural steel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction inspection and testing.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
- Ability to lift, climb, and work at heights.
