Nuss Truck and Equipment is looking for a dedicated Heavy Equipment Service Technician to become a vital part of our team. If you are skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery in various environments, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process repair orders, ensuring efficient and precise execution of tasks.
  • Identify and rectify equipment malfunctions.
  • Conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance checks.
  • Service and repair critical components including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Evaluate repaired machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide updates on job status to service advisors and clients.
  • Participate in manufacturer training sessions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a two-year technical program in Diesel/Heavy Equipment or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in diesel equipment repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Possession of a valid CDL and a clean driving record is required.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are from 7am to 3pm, with potential variations based on operational needs.
