Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Administrator who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Industrial Control System network infrastructure and associated applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and network security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and network devices.
  • Configure and manage network security protocols, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
  • Develop and implement network documentation, including technical specifications and system diagrams.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying knowledge to improve network performance and security.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in network administration, with a focus on industrial control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and network security.
  • Experience with network management tools, including monitoring and troubleshooting software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of 802.1q VLANs and routing tables.
  • Experience building, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks.
  • Hands-on experience with layer-3 protocols.
  • WAN connectivity experience, including Metro Ethernet.
