Position Summary:

As an Assistant Store Manager at Jiffy Lube, you will leverage your background in sales and customer service to enhance the customer experience. A minimum of one year in retail or hospitality management is preferred, and prior automotive experience is advantageous. Comprehensive training will be provided through our esteemed Jiffy Lube University, combining online modules with practical, hands-on experience.

The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee daily store activities, focusing on customer engagement, employee training, and operational guidance. Additionally, you will manage bank deposits, inventory, and cash handling in the absence of the General Manager. Your leadership will set a standard for professionalism, positive attitude, and work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide staff to ensure adherence to operational procedures.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members.
  • Engage with customers to address and resolve concerns.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures for the store.
  • Complete necessary documentation as required.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Reliable attendance and quality of work
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
  • Effective communication skills with customers and staff
  • Ability to complete required computer-based training modules
  • Physical capabilities include servicing vehicles, standing, walking, using hands and fingers, lifting up to 25 lbs., and clear communication
  • Must pass a drug screening
