Job Summary

The Staff Assistant will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role will involve a range of tasks, including:

  • Providing clerical and technical support to healthcare staff
  • Preparing and typing reports and correspondence
  • Answering phone calls and relaying messages
  • Developing and maintaining filing systems
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Collecting and distributing mail and supplies
  • Performing data entry and record-keeping tasks
  • Assisting with patient intake and registration
  • Providing general administrative support as needed
Responsibilities

The Staff Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Performing a range of administrative tasks to support the healthcare team
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Assisting with data entry and record-keeping tasks
  • Providing support with patient intake and registration
  • Performing other related duties as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
