Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker Helper to join our team at Max's Artisan Breads Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and baking of artisan breads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of dough, including mixing, kneading, and shaping.
  • Operate bakery equipment, such as mixers and ovens, to produce high-quality breads.
  • Monitor baking completion times and report any issues to department leads.
  • Ensure all processes meet customer and specification requirements, minimizing risk to the company.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a bakery or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and write English; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled and unscheduled hours, including weekends and holidays.
