Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Hardscape Laborer to join our team at Chimes. As a Hardscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and other hardscape features.
- Prepare job sites by digging, grading, and leveling the ground to ensure a solid and stable base for hardscape installations.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and tools to and from job sites as needed.
- Operate small machinery and equipment, such as compactors, saws, and power tools, safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with cleanup by removing debris, excess materials, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the project.
- Collaborate with the crew members, foreman, and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or hardscaping is preferred but not required. Willingness to train the right candidate.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50-75 lbs), stand, kneel, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to details, ensuring quality craftsmanship.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites are preferred.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with others and take direction from the foreman or supervisor.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
