Position Overview

As a Registered Vascular Sonographer, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations, ensuring a balance between patient care and the efficient operation of the clinic. Your role is pivotal in providing an exceptional service experience for our patients.

This role offers flexibility to work across various clinic locations. Availability during operational hours is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound assessments to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to clarify the treatment approach to patients, addressing their specific healthcare needs.
  • Prepare and sanitize examination and ultrasound rooms before and after patient interactions.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to prescribed timeframes for each ultrasound examination to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Work alongside office and administrative staff to manage the ultrasound schedule, ensuring timely and safe patient care.
  • Continuously enhance your skills and maintain quality of work in line with the company’s care standards through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to support seamless operations.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Compensation range: $38-$47 per hour.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is mandatory.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment is essential.
  • Proficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, effective prioritization, and teamwork skills.

This role requires flexibility to work across various clinic locations. Availability during operational hours is essential.
