As a Pediatric Hospitalist at Allina Health, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized pediatric patients. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care for pediatric patients in a hospital setting, including newborn care and pediatric consultations.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay current with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric hospital medicine.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
- Accredited Residency training program in Pediatrics required.
- BC/BE for Pediatrics (ABP) certification required.
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
- NRP and PALS certification required.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.
