Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nursing Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional care to children with complex medical needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our Pediatric Day Health Care Centers offer a nurturing and engaging environment for children up to age eight.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with health standards.
- Engage with families and children, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages interaction and growth.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Conduct regular evaluations of nursing practices and provide guidance to staff to enhance their professional development.
Daily Activities
Your day will begin with staff assignments and quality assurance checks. You will interact with families, participate in activities, and support nursing staff throughout the day. Each day presents unique opportunities, from organizing engaging events to ensuring the well-being of our young patients.
Qualifications
- Active RN License.
- A minimum of two years of pediatric nursing experience within the last five years.
- Current CPR certification (can be obtained during orientation).
- Management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
