Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Kinnic Health and Rehab.

About the Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as monitoring and recording vital signs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
  • Assist in the implementation of patient care plans
  • Document patient information accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Ability to operate and maintain durable medical equipment (DME)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
  • Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family, and staff
