Job Overview

A reputable Mechanical firm is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to work collaboratively with a team of engineers as their support staff. This role involves helping with design/drafting and being exposed to a cross-discipline environment, assisting project teams in the production of engineering drawings and project documents. The ideal candidate has a passion for design excellence, is a creative problem solver, and a quick learner. Their portfolio showcases prominent projects in various sectors, including Healthcare, laboratory/research, airport, education, retail, corporate office, and large commercial environments.

The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for attending company meetings to discuss ongoing projects, budgets, and marketing plans. They will maintain and develop relationships with clients and their organizations, determining client needs and developing engineered solutions. Staying up-to-date on products and design criteria is essential to analyze and market services effectively. The candidate should be able to identify problems, gather information, and resolve them efficiently. They will assist Service Technicians with job site problems, relay prospective solutions, and encourage feedback from clients and managers. Compliance with company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs is also crucial.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience (College co-op programs are encouraged).
  • Specific knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, piping for design, estimating, and sales.
  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Creative problem-solving and a passion for the industry and process.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and Microsoft Suite.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
