Unit Overview
5D is a 35-bed medical telemetry inpatient unit located on the 5th floor of Christiana Hospital. This unit serves as a stroke overflow area while also accommodating a diverse range of other medical conditions and patient demographics. We collaborate closely with Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners to provide coordinated care for their patients.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to work 24 hours per week, primarily on the Day/Evening shift. Weekend and holiday shifts will be assigned according to departmental guidelines. The typical shift hours are from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Qualifications
- Current Delaware RN license or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
- 1-2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Telemetry experience is advantageous.
- BLS certification is required.
