About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Audit Team as an Audit Senior. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our medium to large US and Japanese-based clients, developing relationships and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, control, and analyze audit procedures, identifying and assisting in the resolution of client issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and staff, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
  • Assist managers in developing ideas to help clients with operational and control opportunities or tax liabilities/exposures.
  • Manage actual time in relation to the engagement budget.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of recent public accounting experience.
  • 1+ years working with Japanese businesses (client, employer, or vendor relationships).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA preferred, with completed 150 credit hours for certification and willingness to obtain within a defined period.
  • Japanese language skills required - verbal and written.
  • Position may be filled as a staff or senior based on transferable experience.
  • Qualified individuals must reside in or near the Illinois, Michigan, or Ohio areas or be willing to relocate.
