Developmental Specialist

Community Connections Inc. is seeking a Developmental Specialist to join our Day Center team in Mashpee, MA. As a Developmental Specialist, you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

• Implement Day Habilitation Service Plan (DHSP) objectives to support individuals with disabilities
• Document progress towards DHSP objectives, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Assist individuals physically as needed, prioritizing their health and safety
• Provide community-based habilitation and therapeutic experiences, tailored to individual needs and preferences
• Transport individuals as assigned, ensuring safe and reliable transportation

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1+ year's experience working with individuals with disabilities, or relevant training
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Acceptable criminal background check required
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with strong computer and word processing skills
