About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Host/Hostess to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide beverages and other service functions as necessary, while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Monitor seating flow, dining room services, and food availability to ensure prompt and courteous dining service.
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for residents and guests.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
