The Opportunity

The Client Success Engineer (CSE) role serves as a strategic consultant within our Privacy/GRC/Compliance product suite. We seek dedicated technical professionals with extensive industry knowledge to ensure our clients achieve strategic success and derive value from our offerings.

We are particularly interested in an architect who can integrate into our 'GRC & Security' Cloud. The global threat landscape is constantly evolving, presenting new and unforeseen risks to individuals and organizations alike. In light of ongoing cyber threats, global emergencies, and natural disasters, it is crucial for companies to maintain resilience in their operations and supply chains. We require an expert who can guide them through the challenges they may encounter and how to leverage OneTrust to fulfill their business objectives.

Your Role

As a Client Success Engineer at OneTrust, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how organizations approach privacy, security, and compliance. Your expertise will significantly contribute to our mission of fostering a safer and more trustworthy digital environment.

  • Establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor to senior business and technology leaders.
  • Develop and present strategic application and architectural design documents utilizing OneTrust best practices.
  • Facilitate strategic workshops and create high-level solution recommendations based on business goals and feasibility considerations.
  • Deliver thought leadership through presentations, webinars, and educational events to showcase customer use cases and reference architectures.
  • Provide strategic subject matter expertise through advisory sessions, pre-sales support, and field assistance.
  • Collaborate with external teams to align roadmaps and technical architectures with overarching business objectives.
  • Translate and implement strategic requirements into practical, technology-driven solutions using OneTrust.
  • Proactively identify and assess strategic challenges and recommend suitable courses of action.
  • Effectively communicate with both implementation teams and executive leadership, earning their trust.
  • Advocate for clients by providing strategic insights to the Product team regarding future release needs and challenges.
  • Refine and enhance internal processes and methodologies based on strategic customer feedback and evolving industry standards.
  • Manage multiple strategic engagements concurrently, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Engage with clients to cultivate long-term strategic relationships and ensure ongoing success.
  • Mentor junior team members and clients to enhance their strategic capabilities and understanding.
  • Establish structured feedback mechanisms with clients to continuously improve OneTrust products and services.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership, mentorship, and organizational behavior skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts, business models, regulations, and technologies.
  • Strong aptitude for conveying complex business and technical ideas using visualization and modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in customer-facing privacy and security consulting, implementation, and advisory roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with privacy, ethics, security, compliance, or sustainability concepts, standards, processes, and issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of OneTrust products and their application in managing business operations.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
  • Technical proficiency in cloud architecture, containerization, scripting, and database management.
  • Experience with large-scale, technologically complex accounts.
  • Understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPP/US, CIPT, FIP, GRCP, GRCA, CRISC, or CTPRP.
