- Lead a team of financial professionals and manage complex processes that involve various external departments.
- Ensure the prompt recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions.
- Examine financial entries, conduct account reconciliations, and prepare both internal and external financial reports, schedules, and statements.
- Address inquiries from management, internal and external auditors, and compliance audit teams regarding financial outcomes and specific reporting requests.
- Regularly assess and enhance internal controls, implementing new standards as required.
- Propose and execute enhancements to accounting workflows and procedures.
- Provide training and support to both new and existing team members as necessary.
- Safeguard the organization's assets by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- A proven history of identifying and spearheading complex accounting process enhancements and automation projects.
- A solid understanding of essential accounting principles and their practical application.
- Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders across various functional and business units.
- Experience in general accounting practices within distribution and manufacturing sectors on a global scale.
Education and Experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
• Extensive experience is required, including supervisory responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may vary by location and include options such as a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and a comprehensive range of personal and professional benefits.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
