Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician/Journeyman Machine Repairer to join our team at The Wood Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic aspects of manufacturing equipment and facilities
  • Machine rebuilding, repair, and troubleshooting
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Welding, moving equipment
  • Machining parts
Requirements
  • Journeyman Millwright card and/or Electrician's card (dual trade is a plus)
  • Experience in general machine repair with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Able to read electrical blueprints/schematics
  • Familiarity with national electrical codes
  • PLC background desired but not required
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of layout and wire control panels
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Own tools required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
What We Offer

This is a temp to hire position starting out at $18/hr. - $22/hr. depending on experience. If you are motivated and experienced with industrial electrical/machine repair, we want to hear from you.
