About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Assist patients onto the scanner and verify their identification prior to the scan
  • Enter patient information into the system and ensure files are archived properly
  • Maintain facilities in proper order and keep abreast of new procedures and policies
  • Conduct quality control procedures and inform appropriate personnel of any equipment issues

Requirements:

  • MA License required
  • ARRT required
  • Advanced CT registration required within 1 year of hire
  • CPR certification required
  • Completion of a medical imaging program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IV skills preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, medical terminology
  • Knowledge of the principles of radiation physics
  • Knowledge of radiographic positioning and radiographic equipment
