Imaging Technologist Opportunity

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team in Florida.

Salary and Benefits

  • The estimated weekly salary for this position is $1,500-$2,000.
  • This includes a competitive hourly wage and tax-free stipend for housing and meal expenses.

Job Requirements

  • Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be certified by the ARRT (CT) or ASRT.
  • Licensure requirements vary by state.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  2. Set the controls of the related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  3. Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable.
  4. Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  5. Collate processed images in sequence of exposure and label appropriately.
  6. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
  7. Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
  8. Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
  9. Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
  10. Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
