About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Indian Health Board of Minneapolis Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify potential issues and ensure that all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Employ, supervise, and train a team of maintenance staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Schedules: Prepare and manage maintenance schedules to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Manage Inventory and Equipment: Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment, and ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and stocked.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in the building maintenance industry, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
  • Strong Knowledge of Building Trades: You should have a strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance, as well as a solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: You should be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
