Aircraft Painter

This role requires a skilled individual with a strong understanding of the paint process, including various paint applications. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Lead or Manager, with daily tasks varying accordingly.

• Ensure accurate masking is completed.
• Sand primer as necessary.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of the paint booth.
• Layout stripe schemes and mask trim colors.
• Prepare and scuff paint for trim paint applications.
• Re-mask aircraft and detail finish.
• Inspect completed paint or strip/sand jobs.
• Mix paint according to specifications.

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• At least 1-year current experience in stripping, sanding, priming, and painting corporate or commercial aircraft, or equivalent experience in customized vehicles, boats, or motorcoaches.

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Routine walking, bending, and squatting or sitting.
• Work standing on ladders or scaffolding.
• Pass pulmonary physical prior to employment.
• Pass respiratory fit test, as protective gear must be worn.
