Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychiatrist to join our team in Saginaw, MI. As a key member of our academic faculty, you will provide exceptional patient care, teach and mentor residents and medical students, and contribute to the development of our department's research objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services as a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health problems and psychiatric disorders in inpatient medical facilities.
- Collaborate with a dynamic care team to maintain a census on the teaching and non-teaching service, balancing the needs of patients, faculty, and learners.
- Engage in medical student and residency educational responsibilities, approximately 10% of your work effort, with opportunities for growth and development.
- Contribute to the department's research objectives, with a focus on scholarly activity, presentations, research mentoring, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Aid in the planning and implementation of training and educational programs, including clinics, out-patient services, and office-based programs.
- Current certification in the specialty by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), or specialty qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee.
- Current, unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Michigan, and appropriate medical staff appointment with participating institutions.
- Requisite specialty expertise and documented educational and administrative experience acceptable to the Review Committee.
