Job Summary

Platt College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Chemistry Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students in the General Education curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the program and course objectives.
  • Maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment that fosters student learning and success.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to ensure they meet the requirements of the relevant workplace setting.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in education to continuously improve teaching methods and materials.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 semester credit hours/23 quarter credit hours in related subject area that supports the General Education curriculum content.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the field of instruction for GE classes preferred.
