Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Intensive Care Specialist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Job:

  • This position will be based in our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) where you will provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of dedicated professionals.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • As a key member of our MICU team, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide age-appropriate care that meets the individual needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  2. Direct and lead other assigned team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide age-appropriate care that meets the individual needs of each patient.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina is required.
  • BCLS and ACLS certifications are required within one year of hire.
