This role emphasizes the importance of delivering exceptional patient care in alignment with the core values of Ronin Staffing, LLC. The specialist will utilize available x-ray technology to generate high-quality images of the human body.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up imaging devices and modify settings such as voltage, current, exposure duration, and distance according to the requirements specified by healthcare providers.

2. Collaborate effectively with the Care Team to ensure prompt and high-quality imaging services.
3. Assess and analyze computer-generated data to confirm that images meet the necessary standards for diagnostic use.
4. Clearly communicate procedures to patients and monitor their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

5. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately capture the required views of the specified areas as indicated by provider orders.

6. Identify potential issues and provide constructive feedback to the Technical Supervisor and Clinic Services Manager.
7. Adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines regarding radiation safety as mandated.
8. Maintain accurate records related to the licensing and registration of radiation-emitting equipment.
9. Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance on imaging equipment while overseeing its functionality.
10. Ensure thorough and precise medical documentation to support continuity of care for patients.
11. Engage in the development and implementation of standardized policies and procedures for imaging services.
12. Assist patients who are seriously ill, injured, or disabled with dressing or changing as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum educational requirement: California Radiology Technologist – Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
