Key Responsibilities:
- Transition effortlessly between diverse nursing units and departments to provide thorough care and assistance in different medical scenarios.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support personnel to deliver patient-focused care and maintain effective communication across departments.
- Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' conditions and requirements, customizing care plans according to individual diagnoses and medical histories.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and critical situations, providing immediate nursing care and support to stabilize patients.
- Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, leveraging knowledge of bed allocation and capacity management to ensure efficient patient flow within the healthcare facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience:
Required:
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year in a clinical specialty as recognized by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Licensure/Certification:
Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification
- American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification. If working in a critical care area, ACLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider is required.
