Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of employees, including responsibilities for recruitment, performance assessment, training, and the establishment of objectives and procedures to achieve organizational goals.
  • Direct all facets of the construction operations to align with the Company's growth objectives while ensuring the safe and efficient expansion and replacement of the distribution and transmission systems through adherence to established construction policies, regulatory codes, and jurisdictional mandates.
  • Formulate and sustain a program to execute project scope, which includes assessing work requirements, determining resource allocation, defining scheduling needs, and establishing performance metrics utilizing the organization's work management system.
  • Guarantee adequate oversight of contractors engaged in construction initiatives.
  • Ensure contractor adherence to contractual obligations and evaluate performance to fulfill all program requirements.
  • Manage construction interactions with clients (builders and developers), contractors, and internal support teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion while documenting any cost discrepancies.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to clarify guidelines and procedures and address issues related to the Company's programs and services, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Coordinate with state and local officials and clients to manage projects, resolve challenges, and foster positive working relationships.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to assess and enhance the effectiveness of existing programs, guidelines, systems, and services within the designated unit.
  • Develop, implement, and manage safety initiatives and objectives.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management or related fields is required.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.
  • Proven knowledge of contract management, as well as federal, state, and local underground construction regulations, piping system design, and gas distribution system installation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using software applications, including Microsoft Office, for sharing, retrieving, and presenting business information.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively, identifying key issues in solving business challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills to address broadly-defined business problems.
  • Capacity to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, subordinates, and peers.
  • Excellent communication skills to present ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to achieve successful project completion and meet established goals.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage diverse activities, set timelines, budgets, and specifications.
We offer a competitive salary range of $121,500 to $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
