We are currently seeking skilled Registered Veterinary Technicians and Assistants to enhance our dedicated team. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician is essential.
- Extensive experience in emergency care is required due to the critical nature of the role.
- Compassionate patient care is a must.
- Proficient in venipuncture and phlebotomy.
- Ability to safely induce, maintain, and monitor critical patients under anesthesia.
- Skilled in digital radiology acquisition.
- Familiarity with automated laboratory analyzers.
- Knowledge of manual laboratory assays.
- Capable of lifting 40 lbs unassisted.
- Able to safely restrain patients for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the criticalist in all facets of patient care.
- Administer IV, IM, SQ, and oral medications.
- Support physical examinations.
- Deliver compassionate customer service to clients.
- Engage in client education.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
