Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our team at PrideStaff. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for picking and packing stock, verifying shipments, and preparing labels for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack stock using best practices and following company standards.
  • Verify shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare labels for delivery using UPS, USPS, and other common carriers.
  • Unload freight from common and containerized carriers.
  • Store, sort, and place received stock on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the locater system.

Additional Duties:

  • Load freight to carriers.
  • Perform general cleaning functions in offices, restrooms, and warehouse areas.
  • Prepare parcels for general mailing.
  • Record amounts of materials received.
  • Weigh and count items for distribution.
  • May be assigned facility maintenance duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of recent warehouse experience required.
  • Ability to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, and stoop; kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and work in a multi-task environment as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires recognition of products by code, packaging, and description.
  • General math, computer, and reading comprehension skills.

Candidates must consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and must be able to provide two professional job references.
