Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen in Covington, GA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts
  • Start and operate equipment to detect problems and ensure proper functioning
  • Inspect and test damaged machine parts, and advise supervisors of repair needs
  • Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications
  • Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment working on production equipment
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in a moderately conditioned, industrial process manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a lift truck license within 60 days of hire/promotion
