Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to produce detailed and high-resolution images of internal organs, tissues, and structures within the body. This critical diagnostic information will assist physicians in accurately diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI scans using specialized equipment to capture detailed images of the body's internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, adjusting settings as necessary to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
  • Monitor and support patients throughout MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort in a confined, noise-controlled environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review MRI images and assist in the interpretation of findings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging data and scan results, for physician review.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification: Certified MRI Technologist (CMR) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
